About Tommy Moe
Tommy Moe is a former World Cup alpine ski racer. He began to ski and hone his skill in the sport at an early age, and even joined the U.S. Ski Team at the age of 16 in 1986. In his career he appeared for nine seasons in the World Cup where he had 7 podiums and one victory. Moe also competed in three World Championship between 1989 and 1996. TommyÂs other accomplishments in his career include three appearances in the Olympic Games including an incredible performance in the 1994 Olympics where he became the first American male ski racer to win two medals in a single Winter Olympics including a gold in the downhill and a silver medal in the super-G event. Tommy retired from ski racing at the age of 28 and has since been inducted into the National Ski Hall of Fame, and currently spends his time as an ambassador of skiing and as a co-owner of Tordrillo Mountain Lodge in the Alaska Range.
