About Troy Tulowitzki
Troy Tulowitzki had a standout 13-year major league career. As a shortstop, he was credited as having a great arm, range, and instincts. After college at California State University, Long beach, where he was a two-time All-Regional Tournament Selection, and after he earned the Most Outstanding Player honor in 2004 Troy made his major league debut in 2006 with the Colorado Rockies, During a decade with the franchise, he was selected to five All-Star Games and won two Gold Gloves. In 2007, Troy also was a part of something that only a handful of other players can say they have ever done. He turned an unassisted triple play against the Atlanta Braves. Tulowitzki went on to play for the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees before retiring in 2019. He finished with a big-league record .956 fielding percentage. Tulowitzki currently serves as an assistant baseball coach for the University of Texas Longhorns.
