About Tyler Gillum
Tyler Gillum is a baseball coach, educator, entrepreneur, and keynote speaker, best known as the Head Coach of the Savannah Bananas since 2018. Under his leadership, the Bananas pioneered Banana Ball: a fast-paced, fan-first, entertainment-driven version of baseball often compared to the Harlem Globetrotters. The team has achieved massive success, including sold-out world tours, viral fame, and millions of fans, through high-energy games, dances, tricks, and crowd interaction. A former college player and coach at the community college level for over a decade, Gillum grew up in Oklahoma on the rodeo circuit and won four state championships in high school. His mantra, "Bet on Yourself," fuels his mission to inspire resilience, mindset, and dream-chasing. He speaks globally on leadership, energy, and culture-building.
