About Vick Ballard
Coming out of high school, Vick Ballard didnt receive many looks from Div. 1 programs so he attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Following two years at the NCJAA program, Ballard attended Mississippi State University where he rushed for 2,158 yards for 29 TDs as the Bulldogs running back for two seasons. At MSU, he ranks 2nd all-time on the Bulldogs career rushing TDs list despite only playing 2 seasons and his 2010 performance of 19 TDs is a single season record for the school. Ballard entered the 2012 NFL Draft under the radar but was selected in the fifth round by the Indianapolis Colts. He has spent all 3 seasons with the Colts, rushing for 877 yards and 2 TDs despite missing the entire 2014 season with a torn Achilles tendon.
