About Warren Moon
Warren Moon was a 2006 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and a trailblazing NFL quarterback. Moon went to nine Pro Bowls and led the NFL in passing twice. Despite having a banner college career, he had to start off in the Canadian Football League. Moon took the CFL by storm, winning five Grey Cups in six seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos. With his play on the field, he enticed NFL teams and ending up spending 17 seasons in the league, most notably with the Houston Oilers. Even after the Oilers moved to Tennessee, Moon had his number retired by the franchise. When you combine his NFL and CFL stats, Moon has held many North American football records. He is the only player in both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and CFL Hall of Fame. Moon had to overcome racial stereotypes of the day, enrolling in junior college before he would even get a Division 1 offer to play quarterback. He ended up guiding the University of Washington to a Rose Bowl victory in his senior season. Moon currently serves as an analyst on the Seattle Seahawks radio network.
