About Anthony Griggs
Anthony Griggs takes lessons learned from reaching the pinnacle in sports and applies that to his life as a motivational speaker, sports trainer, and life coach. Griggs was originally a fourth round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles and played parts of seven NFL seasons. Griggs also competed collegiately for Villanova and Ohio State. In his post-playing career, he served as Director of Player Development for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 13 years. Griggs lends his expertise to the Professional Athlete Transition Institute as a director and consultant. He has always been active in the community. In 1985, he was named the Philadelphia Eagles “Man of the Year”. Griggs is now on the Board of the Directors for a Big Brothers/Big Sisters group in the Pittsburgh area.
