About Calen Bullock
Calen Bullock is an NFL safety for the Houston Texans. Hailing from Pasadena, California, he was a standout two-way player at John Muir High School, where he excelled as a defensive back and wide receiver. Earning bluechip recruiting status, he went on to play for USC. He immediately impacted as a true freshman in 2021, starting six of 12 games and recording 39 tackles and two interceptions, earning Football Writers Freshman All-American honors. In 2022, he started all 14 games, leading USC with five interceptions. In 2023, he earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors with 61 tackles, seven pass deflections, and two interceptions, including a pick-six.
Drafted by the Texans in the third round (78th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft, he started all 17 games, tying for the team lead with five interceptions and recording 51 tackles, one fumble recovery, and eight pass deflections.
