About Chuck Fletcher
Chuck Fletcher has been the general manager of the Minnesota Wild since 2009. Prior to assuming the role, Fletcher spent three seasons as the assistant general manager of the Pittsburgh Steelers. From 2002-06, he was the director of hockey operations, assistant general manager and vice president of amateur scouting/player development for the Anaheim Ducks. Fletcher got his first opportunity in the NHL with the expansion Florida Panthers. He was the assistant general manager for the franchise from 1993-2002 and helped the team make moves that resulted in a trip to the 1996 Stanley Cup Final. Fletcher started in the hockey business as a sales and merchandising coordinator for Hockey Canada and then worked for Newport Sports Management. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
