About DeForest Buckner
DeForest Buckner is a defensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts. He became one of the elite defensive linemen during his first four seasons with theSan Francisco 49ers. Buckner was named a Pro Bowler in 2018 and a second-team All-Pro in 2019. He recorded a career-high 12 sacks in 2019 and then helped the Niners reach the Super Bowl the following season. He played college football at Oregon. Buckner played in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2012, making two starts. He finished the year with 29 tackles and one sack. As a sophomore in 2013, Buckner started eight of 13 games, recording 39 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He returned as a junior in 2014.
