About Devin Mesoraco
Devin Mesoraco began to put all his potential together in 2014 for the Cincinnati Reds. Mesoraco made his first All-Star team and finished the season hitting .273 with 25 homers and 80 RBI. He first came up with the Reds in 2011 after playing in the All-Star Futures Game. In 2012, Baseball America named him Cincinnati’s top prospect. The Reds made him the 15th overall pick out of Punxsutawney High School in the 2007 MLB Draft. Due to his hometown playing a vital role in the annual Groundhog’s Day holiday, Mesoraco is known as “The Groundhog”. Some of his bats are also made from his home in Pennsylvania. He is expected to be a rock for the Reds for years to come and signed a four-year extension with the franchise in January 2015.
