About Don Majkowski
Don Majkowski joined the Green Bay Packers as a tenth round selection in 1987 out of the University of Virginia. While playing quarterback at Virginia he led the Cavaliers to their first ever bowl appearance and a win in the 1984 Peach Bowl. After signing a pro contract with the Packers in 1987 he played five seasons in Green Bay and earned a Pro Bowl selection in 1989 along with Second Team All-Pro honors. He’d go on to play for the Indianapolis Colts from 1993 to 1994 before finishing his career with the Detroit Lions in 1996. Majkowski retired with 12,700 career passing yards and 66 career touchdowns. He was honored with induction into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 2005. After his retirement he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and became a successful real estate investor and contractor. He has also served as an NFL analyst in Wisconsin, where he covered numerous Green Bay Packers games.
