About Drew Pearson
Drew Pearson is a retired NFL wide receiver who played 11 seasons in the league with the Dallas Cowboys. Prior to his time in the NFL, Pearson played collegiately at the University of Tulsa, recording 55 receptions for 1,119 yards and six touchdowns over his four year career. Following his graduation from Tulsa, Pearson signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 1973, and would go on to play eleven seasons with the team. Pearson emerged as one of the top wide receivers in the league, earning three Pro Bowl selections, three First Team All Pro selections, and helping the Cowboys win Super Bowl XII. In 1983, Pearson opted to retire, ending his career with 489 receptions for 7,822 yards and 48 touchdowns. After retiring, Pearson turned his focus to broadcasting, serving positions with CBS and HBO.
