About Henrik Sedin
Henrik Sedin had a banner career in hockey, spending all 18 NHL seasons with the Vancouver Canucks. Sedin was the team's captain from 2010-18 and is the all-time points leader in franchise history. He most notably was also able to form a lethal combination with his brother, Daniel, throughout their playing days. The brothers were the 2nd and 3rd overall picks in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. In 2009-10, Sedin won the Hart Memorial Trophy and the Art Ross Trophy as league MVP and the top points scorer. The following season, he earned his second straight NHL First All-Star Team honor and helped the Canucks reach the Stanley Cup Final. In addition to his amazing tenure in Vancouver, Sedin also competed for Sweden internationally and won an Olympic gold medal in 2006.
