Henry Hynoski is an NFL fullback who played for the New York Giants for four seasons. Initially a high school running back, Hynoski led his school to four straight state championships, ending his high school career with 7,165 yards and 113 touchdowns. Not heavily recruited, Hynoski signed with the University of Pittsburgh where he became the team’s starting fullback after redshirting his freshman season. In 2011, Hynoski announced that he would skip his senior season to turn professional, but a hamstring injury caused him to miss part of the NFL Combine, and he was undrafted in the 2011 NFL Draft. Right after the conclusion of the draft, Hynoski signed as a free agent with the New York Giants, where he became the starting fullback during his rookie season, leading the way for running backs Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. During his rookie season, the Giants won the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl, with Hynoski catching two passes and recovering a Hakeem Nicks fumble that could’ve turned the game in the Patriots favor. In 2012, Hynoski scored his first career touchdown in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
