About Juan Soto
Juan Soto is one of the best players in baseball, currently starring for the New York Mets. In June 2018, shortly after being called up to the major leagues, Soto was listed by Baseball America as the Washington Nationals' top prospect and the fourth-best overall prospect in baseball. He promptly won National League Rookie of the Year honors and a year later, helped lead the Nationals to the World Series. In 2020, Soto won the NL batting title. He was named an All-Star in 2021 and 2022 before being traded to the Padres.
Soto helped San Diego down the stretch in 2022 and then made his third consecutive All-Star appearance with the club in 2023. That year, he also led the majors in walks for the second straight year. During the offseason, the New York Yankees acquired Soto.
