About Kirk Muller
Kirk Muller played 19 seasons in the NHL after being selected with the 2nd overall pick in the 1984 NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils. After seven seasons in New Jersey he signed a contract with the Montreal Canadiens and helped them to a Stanley Cup title in his second year with the team in 1993. Muller played four seasons in Montreal before heading to the New York Islanders. He’d go on to play with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Florida Panthers before hanging up his skates as a member of the Dallas Stars in 2003. During his decorated career he scored 357 goals and posted 602 assists for a total of 959 points in 1,349 games. He also added 23 goals and 43 assists in 110 career playoff games. After his retirement he took up coaching and led the Carolina Hurricanes to 80 wins from 2011 to 2014. In 2014 he was hired as an assistant coach with the St. Louis Blues.
