About Miles Burris
Miles Burris is a former NFL player who spent three seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He played linebacker and collected 210 tackles in his career. As a rookie, Burris started in 15 games. The Raiders originally selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of San Diego State. Burris was a two-time All-Mountain West Conference first-team pick for the Aztecs. He was the 2010 San Diego State Student-Athlete of the Year. Throughout his time in football, Burris grew as a person and he shares those lessons now as a speaker in various corporate, school and church events. He addresses topics like overcoming fear and finding motivation.
