About Randy Cross
Randy Cross is a former football analyst and an NFL offensive lineman. He really began to show his skill on the field in college while playing at UCLA. He became an All-American and in his senior season he led the team to the 1976 Rose Bowl Championship. Cross became the 42nd overall pick in the 1976 NFL Draft selected by the San Francisco 49ers, the team he played for his entire career. In his 13 years on the field Randy was a part of three Pro Bowls and three Super Bowl championships, including his final game as a player in Super Bowl XXIII. Following his retirement Randy went into broadcasting where he was a member of the CBS Sports team that covered events including the NFC playoffs and the Super Bowl, as well as working for other broadcast networks over time. He received his greatest honor in 2011 when he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
