About Scott Podsednik
Scott Podsednik played 11 seasons in the big leagues and was one of the most dynamic outfielders in the league during that time. From 2001 to 2012 he played with seven different teams, including the Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox. In 2004 he led the major leagues with 70 stolen bases while playing for the Milwaukee Brewers and followed that up with an All-Star performance in 2005 that resulted in a World Series title for the Chicago White Sox. Podsednik’s best year came in 2009 when he hit a career high .304 with 25 doubles and 7 homeruns. Over the course of his career he posted a solid .281 career batting average with 309 stolen bases in over 1,000 career games played. Although he was known as a journey man, he was respected for his ability to deliver no matter what city he found himself in and was always embraced by the fan bases around the league for his exciting brand of play.
