About Antonio Pierce
Antonio Pierce parlayed a successful career as a player into respect in the locker room as a coach. Pierce became the interim head coach of the Raiders in 2023 after originally being hired to coach linebackers the year prior. He the franchise to a 5-4 record to finish the year and was named the permanent head coach for 2024.
Pierce initially began his coaching career at Long Beach Poly and then was tapped to join Herm Edwards' staff at Arizona State from 2018-21.
As a player, Pierce was a ferocious force to be reckoned with. He went undrafted out of Arizona, but was able to carve out a nine-year pro career at linebacker. He had the greatest impact with the New York Giants, where he was named to the Pro Bowl in 2006 and won Super Bowl XLII.
