About Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu is a professional poker player who has competed on various tours around the globe. Early in his life, Negreanu dropped out of high school to pursue his love of poker, making a good amount of money from various casinos and illegal games. At just 22 years old, Negreanu left to become a professional poker player in Las Vegas, but eventually had to return home due to a depleted money supply. In 1997, Negreanu got his start in tournament poker at the World Poker Finals and other events, amassing over $55,000 in winnings from three total wins. At the 1998 World Series of Poker, Negreanu finished in the money, earning his first WSOP bracelet and earning over $169,000 from that one tournament. Overall, Negreanu has earned over $29,000,000 in winnings throughout his career, along with honors including six World Series of Poker bracelets and 78 money finishes.
