About Kathy Liebert
Kathy Liebert won the first Party Poker Million event in 2002 after beginning her career as a prop player in Colorado. After winning the million-dollar prize she embarked on a successful professional poker career. Liebert made history in 2004 when she won a gold bracelet in the $1,500 Limit Texas hold’em Shootout event. Since that time she has made five World Poker Tour final tables and posted a third place finish at the 2005 Borgata Poker Open, which at the time was the highest placing by a woman ever on the World Poker Tour. In 2007 she broke her own record by finishing as the runner-up at the Bay 101 Shooting Stars tournament, then tied that record in 2009 with a runner-up finish at the Shooting Stars tournament. Thus far in her career she has made three World Series of Poker final tables and accumulated over $5.8 million in earnings in poker.
