Tom Dwan is a high-stakes No-Limit hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha player that stars on the online gaming site, Full Tilt Poker. While playing online he has developed a reputation as one of the top players in the world, dominating his opponents and winning earning millions in the process. During Full Tilt Poker’s Million Dollar Cash game he set a world record for the largest pot won in a televised game, bringing in just over $1.1 million with one hand. In 2009 he issued a $1 million challenge to play anyone online and agreed to give his opponent over $1.5 million or more if his challenger led after 50,000 hands. He ended up taking home just over $700,000 after just two hands. Dwan began playing poker at the age of 17 with just $50 dollars in his pocket and has turned himself into a multi-million dollar industry with just smarts and a computer screen.
